Description
This Chinese-made AK47 type 56 has the factory code 66 in a triangle. Which means it is believed to have been manufactured by Norinco. This AK or Kalashnikov, often called AK-47, is a designed by Michael Kalashnikov. Its full official name is 7.62-mm Avtomat Kalashnikova 7.62-мм "Automatic Kalashnikov calibre 7.62-mm"., which works with the Russian 7.62x39mm cartridge. So the calibre is not, 5.56mm as some think to infer from the type designation "56" on the weapon. If you are looking for a weapon in that calibre. Then look for an AK74.
This weapon was recently deactivated and can be owned as a decorative weapon by anyone aged 18 or older. A nice and affordable weapon to start the hobby of gun collecting.
