Description
The Zastava M72 rifle is a light fully automatic weapon developed and produced by the then Yugoslav company Zastava and is based on the Soviet RPK machine gun which used the 7.62 x 39 ammunition.
This weapon is almost a 1-to-1 copy of the Soviet RPK light machine gun. There are a few differences from the M72/M72A. It has no side rail attachment for the scope, the stock is also different and shaped like a normal AK-47 rifle. The barrel also differs from other RPK rifles because of the cooling ribs to help heat dissipation during prolonged shooting. The M72 appears only with a heavy profile barrel, unlike Russian and Romanian RPK rifles, which are available in both light and heavy barrel configurations.
The weapon was deactivated in 2024. Is number equal and has no moving parts and of course comes with an EU DECO certificate.
