Description
A rare deactivated weapon in EU DECO is the Ultimax Mark II. It is a Singapore-made 5.56 mm light machine gun developed by Chartered Industries of Singapore (CIS) by a team of engineers led by US firearms designer L. James Sullivan.
The weapon is extremely accurate thanks to its constant-recoil control system. It one of the lightest machine guns in the world. The feature that gives the weapon its low recoil (compared to similar light machine guns) is the "constant recoil" principle. This can be clearly seen in the video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/ClT_91TkDjQ , where the weapon is held with one hand in full auto. The Ultimax is a gas-powered automatic weapon, which is only suitable for full auto firing. This Ultimax machine gun is used in large numbers by the armed forces of Singapore, Croatia and the Philippines.
