Description
This OLD ARMY .44 black powder percussion revolver from Ruger weighs just under 1.4 kilos. It was made after 1870, which means it can be owned without a licence by anyone aged 18 and above only if it is deactivated following EU DECO rules.
This revolver meets those EU DECO requirements. It has a movable barrel, movable cock. According to the guidelines, the cock may not be operated with the trigger, but the trigger is movable. Also, the lever to press powder and bullet into the barrel can be taken out of its lock and rotated 90 degrees.
The design is based on the 1858 Remington, but made to a higher standard and finish. This heavy revolver has a 7.5-inch barrel, features the original Ruger solid wood grips and has a stainless steel factory finish.
