Description
This UZI with wooden stock and original carrying strap has a screw-on adapter for firing practice ammunition, blanks. This screw-on adapter allowed the weapon to continue rehearsing with popping cartridges or blanks.
Rehearsing a recoil weapon works on the reaction force of the movement of the bullet in the barrel. Because with popping cartridges the barrel will not move, to be able to rehearse with blanks, they came up with this supplied set-up adapter. The original, Israel-made weapon worked fully automatic and semi-automatic, but it never did so again because it was deactivated. This, deactivated according to EU deco guidelines UZI with wooden stock, features Israeli markings and has a movable fire selector, ( Safe / Semi-auto and Full-auto ). The trigger is also movable, ( not in the safe position ) The disabled 32-shot magazine is removable. The locking plate is removable. The loose flodder adapter is removable and the bolt and grip safety are also movable.
The UZI with wooden butt was used with the army in the Netherlands. Other Dutch units used the UZI with folding folding stock.
