Description
Designed in the Czech Republic in 1948, this weapon is the forerunner, in terms of technology, of the Uzi pistol machine gun. It also has a 32-shot magazine, which is also placed in the grip and was later adopted by Uzi. This VZ 25 is made to handle 7.62 x 25 ammunition, this ammunition is also known as .30 Tokarev or 7.62 Tokarev. The cartridges for this weapon come in a loading strip. When designing this weapon, careful thought was given to fast reloading of the magazine. Indeed, a guide rail has been made on the right side of the "front wood" into which a strip containing 10 7.62 Tokarev cartridges can be inserted. The projectiles then stand with the bullets up, and a guide rail has also been made on the long side of the magazine, allowing the entire strip with 10 cartridges to be slid into the magazine at once, saving a lot of reloading time. Because the deactivated magazine can be taken out of the weapon, this can be tested by yourself. The entire grip part is made of brown flamed bakelite.
Of course, this weapon also comes with the accompanying EU DECO document, allowing anyone aged 18 or over to own it.
The video explains the technology behind this first design of a telescopic valve system.
